One of the important team members of the home health staff at Hoosier Home Health include the home health aides.
Home Health Aide services include assisting with bathing, shampooing hair, nail care, skin care, assisting with dressing, mouth care, shaving, weight management or other services as the patient needs. These employees help clients stay in their homes longer and assist them to be able to continue doing
their normal daily activities safely.
In order to become a Home Health Aide, our employees have to complete their Certified Nursing Aide certification and twelve continuous hours of
education each year.
At Hoosier Home Health, we honor the services of our Certified Home Health Aides who provide care to those in need every day. We also celebrate
National Home Health Aide Week, in order to recognize the difficult yet rewarding job of home health workers. Our home health aides providers
are the heart and soul of our company, and without our hardworking and compassionate home health aides, we wouldn't be able to provide the best
comfort and care to our patients.
We are proud to have these aides who make an enormous difference in the lives of the patients and families we serve.
"We are proud to have these members as part of our team and be able to provide these services in Monroe and surrounding counties. It's an honor to
celebrate their work during National Home Health Aide Week," Hoosier Home Health Executive Director Irene Danielsen said.
Make November a special time of celebration to honor home care agencies and our team of home health aides, for all they do for patients
around the country!
