Here at Hoosier Home Health, we cultivate an inviting workforce of skilled direct support care staff and clinicians (RNs, LPNs, HHAs, CNAs) by providing necessary support and benefits for all our direct patient care workforce on a daily basis.
FSSA is awarding a 3 part grant to assist agencies with employment retention for their direct service workforce.
HHH will be directing 95% of each grant payout installment towards incentive and retention pay to all eligible employees. Direct patient care staff payouts are anticipated for January 2023, Spring 2023, and Summer 2023. The amount of each payout is unknown at this time, as it will be established based on the following measures:
The remaining 5% of grant money will go towards other costs associated with the program and
hiring incentives such as hiring/referral bonuses and any other costs associated with hiring new staff.
Retention and longevity payouts allows HHH to make additional investments in the workforce by rewarding longevity and providing additional bonuses to staff who remain in the direct patient care workforce into 2023.
